Ghost writer.

We have been very busy here at the Gypsy Chief Blog so we didn’t have time to actually read the book. Not to worry, Saint Sarah didn’t have time to write it either. So we are on an equal footing with her. Instead, we used a handy little C program we found in The Waite Group’s Turbo C Bible to summarize the book. It is easy if you have access to a C compiler. First, gather a list of random thoughts and catchy catch phrases. See above for examples. Feel free to substitute yours. Then assign a numeral to each one. Next you use the rand() function from the Standard C Library to write / review the book. The Mersenne twister would definitely be overkill for anything this author (ghost writer?) would come up with.

This week’s book of the week is not a book it is a bookstore. Wonder Book which is a useful resource for older books at great prices.

For example, I found a copy of Clinton Rossiter’s classic “The American Presidency” on Wonder Book. Service, communication, and delivery were great.

Wonder Book offers other services as well. Books by the foot is popular with interior decoraters and people producing plays and movies. This service allows one to obtain color coordinated books to be used as props. So, what is a Gaylord? A deviant member of the peerage? Indeed no. Used in this context, a gaylord is a particular kind of triple strength cardboard box. I bet they weigh a lot when filled with books.
